PvP Content
There is a lot to explore in terms of Dragon Nest PvP.
3 Main types of PvP are available, with extra categories of Games and Chills, which are not considered true PvP.

- 1v1
- Group (and Endless)
- Ladder
Each have their own set of rules to be followed in Dragon Nest NA.
1v1
1v1
A 1v1 is any 1v1 match in the Lost Temple or Forest Gauntlet map. The Blacklist is generally (preferably) respected here. Challenge your friends, rivals, or strangers to a 1v1 match to gauge and test your true PvP prowess. Some of the toughest and most skilled PvPers will be found primarily in 1v1 matches. Players breaking the Blacklist will often prompt their opponent to use BL skills as well.

No-BL
Non-Blacklist or Open Play 1v1 is generally looked down upon by older PvPers. This is generally played on the Castle Royal Rumble (aka Wipeout) map. No Blacklist is applied.
Duel
A Duel is also an available option from town. It is a 1v1 match in the Arena of Death map. Since it is very rarely played, and oftentimes only by PvErs, Blacklist may or may not be applicable and is more often not applied.

Group
Group PvP refers to any match that is not a 1v1 match. No Blacklist is applied to any Group PvP. In group PvP, it is common for uneven teams to be evened out by an extra person "sitting out" the match.
Group (2v2, 3v3, 4v4)
More common group PvP such as 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 is often located in the Lost Temple map. Some group PvP rooms will ban priests and / or tinkerers.
Wipeout
Wipeout is a team elimination game set in the Castle Rumble map or Wipeout map. Leaders will pick teammates to fight the opposing team. Winners will fight again until they die, gaining a bit of HP and MP after a win. You do not respawn after dying. If one player wipes out the entire opposing team single-handedly, they achieve a domination. Wipeout is a fairly common type of group PvP, but is not an Endless option. "Sitting out" is not common here.
Respawn
Respawn is a group PvP that pits two teams against each other. Any large map is common. Teammates will respawn after a death. Whichever team reaches the goal amount of kills (max 32) first wins. Uncommon outside of Endless.
Protect
Two opposing teams aim to kill the enemies's Captain while protecting their own. Captains have higher stats and damage. Any large map is common. Team members can respawn after a death, but the round ends when either team's Captain is killed. Uncommon outside of Endless.
Free-for-All (aka FFA)
In an "every man for himself" fashion, FFA is on various maps, often Lost Temple. There are no teams. FFA counts the number of kills. Uncommon outside of Endless. Commonly used for "Chill Rooms."
Tournament
A bracket-style elimination Tournament of 1v1 matches that takes place on the Castle Rumble map. Very rare.
Guild Rumble or GvG
A siege-like group game that does not have to be played within guilds. Break into the enemy base and destroy their crystal, capturing command posts on the way. Guild Rumble has its own map. Special Guild Rumble skills such as buffs or siege engines (trebuchets, etc) are available to use by the leader for rumble points gained in the game. Very rarely occur.

Endless
Endless is a Mode that offers ongoing games that you can join freely! It will usually include Respawn and Protect in a variety of randomized maps. Each time a room is occupied, a new one appears for more games to occur! Endless is a No-BL environment like all types of Group PvP. In Endless, however, people do not "sit out" when there is an uneven number of people. You just keep fighting! Endlessly!
Recent changes has made it so that you must leave the room after a match and rejoin, unlike previously where you could AFK in Endless and be sent to the next round immediately.
As a whole, Endless matches go on throughout the day and night.

Ladder
Ladder is a unique, ranked PvP piece of content that offers rewards for PvE. There are 3 sub-sections of Ladder : 1v1 Unequalized, 2v2 Unequalized, and 1v1 Equalized. "Equalized" refers to the stats of the characters. "Unequalized" matches will have varied stats depending on your PvE gear, while "Equalized" is more similar to the majority of the arena with standardized stats depending on class. MP is drained faster in Ladder for quicker matches. There is NO BL restriction, regardless of whether or not it is a 1v1 match. All Ladder matches will take place in the Castle Rumble Map and requires you to be at the level Cap.
Ladder matchups are matched by rank - the game will try to match you with opponents of similar rank. If there aren't many opponents signed in, however, you may match up against a higher rank. Higher rank offers more points
*Ladder is primarily available for DN NA on Fridays. This is the day that everyone does ladder. Other days of the week will be very very difficult to find a matchup*
1v1 Uneq
A 1v1 match that is gear dependent. Run a minimum of 10 per week for Ladder points.
2v2 Uneq
A 2v2 match that is gear dependent. Match up with a friend or partner. One person will request, and the other must be in the Arena Lobby and accept. Run 10 per week for Ladder points - offers more points than 1v1.
1v1 Eq
A 1v1 equalized match. The only difference from another 1v1 Eq match in the Arena is that it runs on Ladder stats (different than equalized Arena stats) and is ranked more accurately than the regular Arena EXP.
Rewards
Rewards offer mostly pertain to PvE. Ladder points can get you a Ladder Epic set. The weapons of this set (2-set) offer Final Damage, an important stat in PvE and thus is a cheap alternative (or better choice) to Epic Nest set weapons. You can also sell these weapons for some profit. Points can also get you an Enhancement Crest Pouch for the level cap. This is the most common way of obtaining these, which can be used for gearing OR sold for a good profit (especially if you craft a 3rd line plate).

Games and Chills
A large variety of fun games are offered, and the community offers "chill rooms" to participate in if you get tired. While games are not very common, you can find some on occasion. Chill rooms are very common and are set up like a regular PvP room, but are not considered real PvP.
Games include : Ghouls, Horserace Derby, etc.
